Hi, I'm Agnes! Welcome to my little corner of the internet!

I have been crocheting for about 15 years (there's a bit of 'timey wimey' thing going on here, because surely, it can't have been that long, can it?!) As you can probably tell, my greatest love to date have been ombre and variegated shawls, though I am pivoting recently more towards wearable garments, such as sweaters and cardigans.

Apart from selling my finished garments, I'm also an aspiring crochet pattern designer. I really enjoy the analytical side to pattern design, identifying repeat sections, working out the measurements, even counting the stitches! To that end, I have been coming up with my own projects for the past 2 years, meticulousy scribbling down my notes. I am often inspired by the neatness and drape of knitted fabrics, though like most crocheters, I can't knit to save my life!

When I'm not crocheting, I love long walks, ancient history, baking, and discovering new places through immersive, independent solo travel (though you will probably notice how my love of crochet, history and travel often overlap!) My life has always been full of curiosity and the desire to learn, and I've always made my own path in the world.

All of that brought me here: to my own little online shop. To me, there's nothing more satisfying than sharing my creations with others, and that is really what drives me. Nesting Tendencies is not really a business - it will never be a viable source of income for me - but I do appreciate each and every single sale, as a tangible reminder of the meaningful human connections we forge, however briefly.

So get yourself a cuppa, make yourself comfy, and please feel free to browse my crefully curated collections for something truly special and unique for you or your loved ones. I love hearing who my creations end up with, so I'd be delighted if you chose to reach out to me!

Enjoy!
